“Americans want Congress to do two things, work together on our national fiscal crisis and stop ObamaCare.  It’s time Congress started listening to them,” says Rep. Steve Stockman. “We are committed to keeping the government open, reaching an agreement on the national debt ceiling and stopping ObamaCare.  It’s time to stop leaning on our shovels and get to work.”

“I hope congressional leaders and President Obama will agree with me and the people we serve by supporting H. Res. 333. This is the only prudent and responsible thing to do.  President Obama has already delayed or repealed portions of his failed plan at least seven times, so the bill only expands upon what he has already done.  Even he has admitted the plan is not ready.

“When Congress plows ahead on spending billions on an experiment its own creator says isn’t working it’s no wonder our approval ratings are so low.  This is your congressman’s chance to fix that."
